Creighton put four players in double-figures and ran its winning streak to eight games in a 74-61 win at Missouri State in a telecast on FSMidwest.  Kelsey Woodard led all scorers with 18, while Megan Neuvirth and Chevelle Herring added 15 and 14 points, respectively.  Drake won its seventh game in eight tries with a balanced effort at Wichita State.  Monique Jones posted a 12-point, 15-rebound double-double to lead five players in double figures.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Kelsey Woodard led four Bluejays in double figures with 18 points, as the Bluejays won their eighth consecutive game Friday night at Missouri State, 74-61.  The victory was Creighton's first in Springfield since 2002, snapping a six-game skid on the Lady Bears' home court.  The Jays improved to 13-8 on the season and 8-2 in the MVC, while MSU dropped to 6-15 overall, 2-8 in the Valley.

WICHITA, KAN. - Junior guard Monique' Jones (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit North) recorded her third career double-double to lead the Drake women's basketball team to its seventh Missouri Valley Conference victory with a 65-50 decision at Wichita State Friday. Jones grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds, along with 12 points to lead the Bulldogs, who improved to 13-9, including a 7-3 conference mark.
