Wichita State Claims 2012-13 All-Sports Crown
Wichita State is the 2012-13 Missouri Valley Conference all-sports champion. It marks the seventh crown in the past 10 years for Wichita State, which has a league best 19 all-time. WSU finished second in the all-sports trophy race in 2011-12.

Valley Announces 2013-14 Championships Calendar
Commissioner Doug Elgin has announced a list of dates and sites for the various Missouri Valley Conference sports championships for the 2013-14 athletic season. All site awards are subject to ratification at the Missouri Valley Conference Presidents’ Council meeting, which takes place May 28.

Missouri Valley Conference Adds Loyola University Chicago
For the first time in 20 years the Missouri Valley Conference is adding an institution, as the MVC President’s Council unanimously voted to extend a membership invitation to Loyola University Chicago, and the Ramblers will begin full participation in all of its sponsored sports effective for the 2013-14 season.

Jackie Stiles Returns to Missouri State as Assistant Coach
The all-time leading scorer in Division I women's basketball, Jackie Stiles will return to her alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2013-14 season.Missouri State women's basketball coach Kellie Harper filled her two remaining assistant coaching vacancies Thursday, with former MSU great Jackie Stiles and Jennifer Sullivan set to join her husband Jon Harper on the sideline this fall.

Barb Smith Named Illinois State Women’s Basketball Coach
Barb Smith has been named the seventh head women's basketball coach in Illinois State history. Smith, who has 26 years of Division I collegiate coaching experience, was introduced to the media and fans by Illinois State Director of Athletics Gary Friedman at a press conference Monday afternoon.

Kellie Harper Named Missouri State Women's Basketball Coach
One of the nation’s most-respected young coaches has been selected to lead the Missouri State University Lady Bears basketball team. Kellie Harper, the former head coach at North Carolina State and Western Carolina, was announced as the seventh Lady Bears head coach at a news conference Wednesday (April 10) at JQH Arena.
