WBB: Friday Night Recaps

Bradley continued its historic season with a 73-49 home win over Southern Illinois to move to a program-best 12-2 start, and improve to 3-0 in MVC play for the first time since the 1990-91 season.  Fourteen different players scored for the Braves, who opened up a 43-16 halftime advantage behind a stingy defense that limited SIU to 5-of-20 shooting.  UNI worked the glass as it earned its second Valley win behind a 24-point, 14-rebound effort from Kim Wypiszynski.  UNI held a 50-31 rebounding advantage and held Evansville to 22 percent shooting in the 62-43 win.

Three Missouri Valley Conference games are on tap for Saturday, including Wichita State at Creighton, Missouri State at Drake and Illinois State at Indiana State.
