For the third time in league history, four Valley volleyball teams have been selected as part of the field of 64 to play for the 2015 NCAA national title. MVC regular-season and tournament champion Wichita State will be joined by at-large selections Missouri State, UNI and Southern Illinois in the 2015 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship.
Wichita State captured its third Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship with a 3-2 win over Missouri State at the Hammons Student Center, earning the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Set scores were 24-26, 20-25, 27-25, 25-17, 18-16.
Wichita State's Jody Larson was named the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship Most Valuable Player, after leading the Shockers to their third MVC Tournament title and the league's automatic NCAA Tournament berth.
