The Missouri Valley Conference has announced the 2010 Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete teams, following the completion of the 2010 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship last weekend in Normal, Ill. at Redbird Track Complex.

A total of 114 student-athletes made the 2010 Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team with each school being represented.  In order to become an honoree, student-athletes have to meet certain performance and academic standards.  Student-athletes with a 3.2 cumulative GPA and a sophomore in athletic and academic standing who finish among the top-eight at either the MVC Indoor or Outdoor Track & Field Championships are included on the Scholar-Athlete team.

Indiana State and Southern Illinois led the way with 25 and 24 student-athletes named to the Scholar-Athlete team, respectively.
