2005 Scholar-Athlete Teams
Ninety-four student-athletes qualified for the 2005 Missouri Valley Conference Track and Field Scholar-Athlete Team, as announced by the league office today. The criteria for the Valley Scholar-Athlete Track and Field Team requires a student-athlete to have placed in the top six at either the indoor or outdoor Valley championship and to maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Freshman and first-year junior college transfer students are not eligible.

2005 Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference
The 2005 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Teams were announced by the league office Wednesday. Athletes finishing in the top three in any event at the 2005 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships were named to the all-conference team.

2005 State Farm MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship
The University of Northern Iowa claimed the men's team title, while Wichita State University won the women's team crown, at the 2005 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships that concluded today at Mark Messersmith Outdoor Complex in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

2005 Indoor Track & Field Season Recap - NCAA Review
As the 2005 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship came to an end Saturday, March 12, so did the indoor track and field season for remaining Missouri Valley Conference schools that had qualifiers at this year's event. Five Valley student-athletes earned All-American honors at the meet, including a two-time honor for Southern Illinois' Amarachi Ukabam, who placed seventh and tenth, respectively, in the shot put and weight throw.
