50-yard butterfly – 26.69 – 1st place
Senior Jeanette Nolte had a strong weekend of swimming as the Redbirds competed against Nebraska-Omaha. Nolte helped lead the way for the Redbirds with three first-place finishes. The Redbirds were victorious 207-90 against Nebraska-Omaha, and it was the last home meet for the Redbirds, as well as their senior day. Nolte earned first-place in the 100-yard butterfly (57.76), the 50-yard butterfly (26.69) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.26). Her time in the 100-yard freestyle was also a season best swim. All three performances helped the Redbirds defeat Nebraska-Omaha. The Redbirds are now 5-0.

3-meter board- 319.95 – 1st place
Sophomore diver Wenting Zhang had a successful performance on Saturday, Jan.12. The Redbirds were victorious against Nebraska-Omaha (207-90). Zhang’s performance on the 1-meter and 3-meter board helped the Redbirds earn their victory. On the 1-meter board Zhang broke the school and pool record and earned first-place with a score of 331.35. On the 3-meter board, Zhang continued to dominate with a score of 319.95, which earned her another first-place finish. Both these victories helped the Redbirds defeat Nebraska-Omaha. The Redbirds are now 5-0.
