The loss was the first conference setback of the year for the Panthers and snapped an 18-game win streak for UNI in regular-season league games. Northern Iowa had won 17 of its previous 18 games overall heading into Wednesday’s doubleheader and was receiving votes in the latest USA Today/NFCA Top 25.
