The field for the 2012 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship is set for next week's event at Charlotte West Stadium in Carbondale, Ill., hosted by Southern Illinois.  UNI won its second regular-season title finishing 21-4 in league play – and have earned the tournament's top seed.  The Panthers last won the regular-season in 2000.  

The Missouri Valley Conference will televise the title game from the 2012 State Farm MVC Softball Championship on Saturday, May 12 with a 2:07pm start time on FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports Indiana, FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX College Sports Pacific, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, DirecTV, Dish Network, AT&T U-verse and ESPN3 outside the league’s six-state footprint (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska).
