MVC to Host 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Event
The NCAA has announced today that the Missouri Valley Conference will serve as host for 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship second- and third-round games in Kansas City, Mo. The games will be played at Sprint Center on Friday, March 22, and Sunday, March 24, 2013.

MVC Men's Basketball Off to A Good Start
Last year, Missouri Valley teams were a combined 11-22 against BCS schools, but only six of the 33 games were at home (the league was 4-2 in those games.) This week, as many as nine games will be played vs. BCS schools. Colt Ryan and Anthony Downing, meanwhile, are Week One award winners in the MVC.

The Missouri Valley Conference has entered into a new five-year agreement with ESPN that will feature an expanded number of national appearances across ESPN’s networks. The agreement with ESPN extends through the 2015-16 academic year and annually provides a minimum of 40 national appearances for Valley teams on ESPN platforms.

UNI to Play in ESPN's Hoops Marathon
Northern Iowa will be featured in ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon with a matchup against St. Mary's (Calif.) on Nov. 15.
