Strausborger Earns Rawlings Gold Glove Award
Indiana State's Ryan Strausborger was selected as one of three outfielders nationally for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, which is chosen by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association's (ABCA), as announced by the association last week. Strausborger, a senior from Osceola, Ind., started all 54 games this past season, assisting ISU to .976 team fielding percentage, which helped rank the Sycamores 10th in the nation.

Florida starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani held the Redbirds to just one hit in 5.1 innings of work and got the run support he needed, as the No. 6 Gators defeated Illinois State, 8-0, at McKethan Stadium Wednesday night. For the second consecutive game, Illinois State kept pace with Florida through the first half of the game.
