2010 Women's Golf All-Conference Team
Tournament medalist Olivia Lansing of Drake highlights the 10-member all-conference team, announced in conjunction with the State Farm MVC Championship in Newburgh, Ind., on April 18-19-20. Lansing was tournament medalist after firing a three-round 72-75-72=219 to win the tournament by three strokes over Illinois State's Laura Harris. By winning, Lansing earned a third-straight MVC all-conference award and became just the fifth player in MVC history to earn conference medalist honors more than once. Lansing was joined on the all-conference team by Illinois State's quartet of Laura Harris, Marisa Milligan, Stacey Miller and Britt Knutson, Indiana State's Breanne Smith, Missouri State's Catherine Dolan and Heather Smith, and Bradley's Breanne Neufeld and Kelly Amundrud. In a vote of league coaches, Lansing was named MVC Golfer of the Year, Heather Smith was Newcomer of the Year, while Darby Sligh of Illinois State earned Coach of the Year honors for the third-straight year. The top six finishers, plus wild-card selections based on regular-season scoring averages, make the 10-player team. Coaches vote to determine the league's Newcomer of the Year, Golfer of the Year and Coach of the Year.
