For just the second time in league tournament history, a player from a non-championship team has earned State Farm MVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.  Illinois State's Osiris Eldridge headlines the list of five players selected to the team, following Sunday's championship game.  Eldridge is joined on the team by teammate Chamberlain Oguchi.  UNI, which won the championship with a 60-57 overtime score, has two players on the team, including Adam Koch and Kwadzo Ahelegbe.   The league's Player of the Year -- Booker Woodfox of Creighton -- also earned a spot on the five-player team.  Voting was conducted by media.

The only other player to win the MVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player honor after his team did not win was UNI's Cam Johnson (1994).
