Missouri Valley Conference automatic qualifters Southern Illinois and Wichita State will begin play Friday, May 8, as the Salukis will face No. 7 UCLA, while the Shockers have drawn No. 13 Stanford.

Six Valley Schools, Individuals Honored with ITA All-Academic Award
Six Missouri Valley Conference women's tennis teams were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as recipients of the ITA All-Academic Team award for the 2007-08 season. Members of Bradley, Creighton, Evansville, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois and Wichita State were part of 102 NCAA Division I women's programs to earn this distinction.
