This week's Missouri Valley Conference golfer of the week is Jordan Weber of UNI.  The senior from Bernard (Iowa) Cascade High took top honors for the Panthers this week at the Agua-Caliente Air Force Invitational, hosted by Air Force in Palm Springs, Calif.

Weber finished in seventh place on Saturday and Sunday at the Indian Canyons Golf Resort, with a solid score of 198, 18 strokes under par.  He trailed the leader board in the first day of play, carding a pair of 67s in the first and second rounds. However, Weber followed up on the second day of competition, firing an 8-under-par third round of 64 to help climb up the leader board.   Weber’s outstanding individual performance helped propel the Panthers to a third place team finish with a score of 805.
