Rare Saturday as all 5 Road Teams Post Wins
On Saturday, the league went a perfect 5-0 on the road. That marks the fourth-straight year in which the league went 5-0 in road play on the same day (2-11-06, 2-28-05 and 1-28-04). Prior to Jan. 28, 2004, the last time the league went 5-0 on the road on the same day was on Feb. 13, 1982. It is believed those are the only five 5-0 road days in the 99-plus-year history of the MVC.

The NCAA has awarded the city of St. Louis a 2010 NCAA Men?s Basketball Regional, and the games will be played in the Edward Jones Dome. The NCAA Division I Men?s Basketball Committee announced the 24 cities that will serve as hosts to first- and second-round and regional games for the 2009 and 2010 championships (among them St. Louis).
