Kasey Wahl then homered to cap the Aces’ scoring. The Bears threatened in the seventh with a leadoff double and a walk when the inning ended with runners stranded at the corners. UE’s Kai Tuomi (6-1) went 6 2/3 innings for the win, striking our seven and scattering four hits, while MSU’s Chris Krawczyk (6-5) pitched the complete game, striking out seven and scattering six hits. At the plate, UE’s Wahl went 3-for-4 in the final game, and contributed a 6-for-8 effort on the day. Drake and DH Clay Coulter each picked up two hits in the final game. |
