UNI, the host institution of the 2006 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship, pulled off a team victory at the event, winning on the men's side as the Panthers earned 140 points for the title.

Wichita State was the 2006 team champion on the women's side totaling 138.5 points as the event concluded in Cedar Falls Saturday evening.
