There were numerous highlights among the MVC athletics programs in the past year as Valley student-athletes and teams competed on the national stage.

Wichita State is the 2012-13 Missouri Valley Conference all-sports champion. It marks the seventh crown in the past 10 years for Wichita State, which has a league best 19 all-time. WSU finished second in the all-sports trophy race in 2011-12.

Commissioner Doug Elgin has announced a list of dates and sites for the various Missouri Valley Conference sports championships for the 2013-14 athletic season. All site awards are subject to ratification at the Missouri Valley Conference Presidents’ Council meeting, which takes place May 28.
