League play begins Saturday with a pair of games as Drake travels to Peoria to face Bradley and Evansville faces No. 12 Creighton in Omaha.   The league concluded its pre-conference schedule with an impressive 75-42 non-league record.

Creighton (11-1) and Wichita State (11-1) join 20 other teams nationally that have 11 wins. The MVC is one of only 5 leagues that have two 11-win teams

Wichita State is 46-10 vs. non-league teams over the past 3-plus years. That’s 17th best nationally.

Bradley (8-4) and Southern Illinois (7-4) join nine other teams that have surpassed or are within 1 win of last year’s total (only teams with .500 or better records this year are included on that list.)
