The NCAA has announced today that the Missouri Valley Conference will serve as host for 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship second- and third-round games in Kansas City, Mo. The games will be played at Sprint Center on Friday, March 22, and Sunday, March 24, 2013.

Former Illinois State men’s basketball star Dan Muller was officially named the 19th head coach in school history by ISU Director of Athletics Gary Friedman at a media conference Tuesday at Redbird Arena.

The Creighton men's basketball team finished the 2011-12 season ranked 21st nationally in the year-end USA Today/ESPN Top-25 Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday. The last MVC team to be ranked in season-ending coaches poll was UNI in 2010.
