This week's Missouri Valley Conference golfers of the week are Jordan McLaurin of Missouri State, Kelly Amundrud of Bradley, and Thea Hedemann of Bradley.

This weekend the MVC TV network will spotlight three of the league’s top five teams as part of its annual “Wildcard Weekend” broadcasts. UNI will host Creighton on Friday, Feb. 24, at 8:30 p.m., while Indiana State welcomes Wichita State on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m.

This week’s Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week is Alen Salibasic of Drake. Teammate Klavdija Rebol takes home this week’s Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week honor.

This week Indiana State takes home three Athlete of the Week awards. Carmelia Stewart receives this week’s Women’s Track Athlete of the Week recognition on behalf of the Sycamores, while teammates Major Clay and Felisha Johnson are named this week’s MVC Field Athletes of the week, respectively. Lawson Montogmery of Wichita State has been selected as this week’s Men’s Track Athlete of the Week.

Southern Illinois' Austin Montgomery and Creighton's Ty Blach have been named the league's initial Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.
