Missouri State Ends Season at NCAA Regional
Missouri State wrapped up its 2011-12 campaign with the third and final round of the NCAA Women’s Golf West Regional on Saturday (May 12). Entering the tournament as the No. 22 seed, the Bears managed to move up two spots, placing 20th with Kennesaw State in the team standings.

MVC Elite 18 Award recipient Katie Jean of Illinois State and Missouri State's Kelsey Welber highlight the 2012 MVC Women’s Scholar-Athlete First Team, announced by the league office today. A total of seven student-athletes earned first-team scholar-athlete honors, and three others earned honorable-mention status.

Wichita State earned its fifth-straight MVC men's golf championship with an 18-stroke victory at the 2012 State Farm MVC Men's Golf Championship, played at the par-71, 6,731-yard layout at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.

Missouri State Women’s Golf to Play in NCAA West Regional
The Missouri State women’s golf team earned an NCAA postseason appearance for just the second time in school history. On Monday evening (April 30), the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Committee announced the Bears as the No. 22 seed in the NCAA West Regional in Erie, Colo.

Missouri State is the 2012 State Farm MVC Women's Golf Champion after rallying Tuesday to overtake UNI and Bradley on the tournament's final day. Katie Jean of Illinois State took home medalist honors while leading the Redbirds to a second-place finish.

Becker Claims Final MVC Weekly Golf Award
This week's Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week is Wichita State's Rafael Becker. Becker recorded his fifth-straight Top 10 finish and the Wichita State University men's golf team placed fifth at the 16-team Boilermaker Invitational.
