2011 State Farm MVC Cross Country Championship

Brogan Austin of Drake won the 2011 State Farm MVC Men's Cross Country race with a time of 25:15.0. Indiana State claimed team honors for the third year in a row with 34 points. Southern Illinois came in second-place (48 points) and Drake in third (66 points).

On the women's side, Aliphine Tuliamuk of Wichita State took top honors finishing in 17:16.6. Illinois State came took home the team championship (44 points), Wichita State second-place (54 points) and Bradley in third (91 points).

This year's Championship was held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind, hosted by Indiana State University.  The course has been host to numerous NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships and is labeled as one of the premiere cross country courses in the United States.  The Men's 8k Championship started at 10:30am, with the women's at 11:30am.  Following the women's race was an awards ceremony for both the men and women.
