Missouri State’s 9-0 league start leaves the Bears as the only NCAA Division I team still unbeaten in league play. MSU’s nine-straight MVC wins to start conference play is currently the second longest league winning streak in the NCAA, trailing only Mercer who has won 12-straight contests in Southern Conference play.

DBU, Missouri State and Southern Illinois each opened up Valley action a perfect 3-0, earning sweeps on the opening weekend of league play. This weekend will feature another slate of league games, as Southern Illinois visits Wichita State, DBU makes the trip to Missouri State, and Indiana State heads to Evansville.
Beginning Friday, the first three series of the MVC conference season will take place with Dallas Baptist hosting Illinois State, Evansville heading to Southern Illinois and Missouri State welcoming Bradley.
