In Tuesday's nightcap at the MVC Baseball Championship, host and No. 1 Illinois State took down No. 8 Bradley, 11-1, in eight innings.

Two costly Evansville errors in the bottom of the ninth inning allowed Missouri State to erase a one-run deficit and earn a 2-1 victory over the Purple Aces.

In game two of the MVC Baseball Championship, No. 7 Southern Illinois upset second-seeded Wichita State, 5-1, behind Cody Forsythe's complete game. The Salukis will face No. 6 Indiana State on Wednesday at 4 p.m., while the Shockers look to bounce back against No. 3 Creighton at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.

In game one of the MVC Baseball Championship, No. 6 Indiana State took down No. 3 Creighton, 4-3. The Sycamores will face the winner of the Wichita State/Southern Illinois contest, while the Bluejays will take on the loser of the Shockers/Salukis game.

Illinois State will serve as host of the 2013 Baseball Championship, at Duffy Bass Field May 21-25.
